The E-Cell of STME, Navi Mumbai organised an interaction with a team from Technical University, Braunschweig, (TU BS), Germany, regarding collaboration for the upcoming Indo-German Centre for Entrepreneurship on 8th Dec 2023.
The discussion with faculty members was about opportunities for students of NMIMS to participate in the Summer Camp (Offline) and Summer School (online), collaborative research, student and faculty exchange activities for entrepreneurship education. This was followed by an interaction with students about the vision, objectives and opportunities for cross-border entrepreneurship.
The closing session was an interaction with student entrepreneurs who have been working on their start-up projects. Four teams made their presentations and received an encouraging response from the guests.
The event was well received by the faculty as well as students, and we look forward to the next steps in this effort. The main objective was to facilitate discussions and explore collaboration opportunities between NMIMS Navi Mumbai and TU BS for integration as an incubator within the Indo-German Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
One of the most significant outcomes was that the interaction established a base for a robust relationship for entrepreneurship beyond borders, fostering innovation and creating opportunities for startups from NMIMS Navi Mumbai and beyond, with both parties expressing enthusiasm for future collaboration.
